Terms of Service

Welcome to Teach Your Kid to Read. By accessing or using our website and application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

1. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. Use by Children

Our service is designed for children to use under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Children under 13 may not create their own accounts. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children's use of the service.

3. Subscription and Payments

• The first lesson is free to use without any payment method or subscription. Access beyond it requires a subscription.
• New subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, but no charge is made during it.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts automatically to a paid plan and your payment method is charged the price shown at signup ($9.95 per month, or $95 per year). It then renews automatically at that price each period until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time — including during the free trial — from the Billing screen in the app, or, for subscriptions purchased through Apple, in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged; cancelling later takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@teachyourkidtoread.com for assistance.
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the service without permission.
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and intellectual property on Teach Your Kid to Read, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, lessons, and software, are the property of Teach Your Kid to Read and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific learning outcomes will be achieved.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teach Your Kid to Read shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the United States. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
