After years of homeschooling our own kids and watching them learn to read, we realized the problem: apps were trying to replace parents instead of empowering them. We designed every lesson so that any parent can understand the rules and teach them with confidence. This app is what we wish existed when we started our homeschool journey.
Xia has successfully taught all four of our children to read using phonics-based methods — and she's now in the trenches with our 4-year-old while our two oldest devour books on their own.

Every lesson, every activity, every part of this app has been tested by our own children. They're our toughest critics and our biggest inspiration. If it doesn't work for them, it doesn't make it into the app.
Our method: parent-guided phonics
Every lesson teaches your child and teaches you — at the same time. While they're doing the work, you're becoming the guide they actually need. Just 15 minutes a day, side by side.
